Our School

Message from the Principal

Welcome to Woodlake Elementary School… home of the Pelicans! We are excited for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Our theme this year is Peace, Love and Woodlake, which highlights our belief that Woodlake is a family that cares for and respects each other every day. Our school is focused on knowing our students as individuals and providing instruction to best meet their needs. We keep student achievement as our top priority.

To stay informed of all that is taking place at Woodlake, please visit our website on a regular basis. I encourage you to read over the parent/student handbook on this site to become familiar/refresh your knowledge of our policies and procedures-especially our dismissal routines. Please call/email the office or your child’s teacher at any time with questions.

Our students’ success is dependent on a strong home/school connection. An important part of this is our student agenda, which is included after the handbook in this document. Homework and any necessary communication between you and your child’s teacher should be written in the agenda.

We consider parents to be valuable partners and encourage you to visit campus, meet our faculty and staff and enjoy all the great activities that we have planned this school year. Looking forward to a wonderful 2022-2023 school year!

With sincere thanks,

Kristy Winget, Principal
