Pelican Place is the name of our classroom community. Each citizen of Pelican Place has a job and receives a weekly salary of $25 Pelican Bucks.

Market Day is a special event at Pelican Place. Every month we have an open market (in the classroom) where the children can sell goods in exchange for Pelican Bucks. For more information about Market Day, please choose a link below:

• Our new online version of Accelerated Reader is up and running! The children are learning the new login procedure and doing a great job with their tests. One of the best features of this new AR is the Home Connect feature. Using Home Connect you can keep up with your child's performance in AR and STAR Reading. Your child will brought a letter home with their log in information for this site. Please let me know if you have any trouble accessing the site.
• Please check and sign your child's behavior grade in the Agenda every night. We're working toward 100% participation in both homework and getting behavior grades signed.
• Please write your child's lunch number on the envelope in which you enclose the lunch money.
