Our teachers and students found a wonderful surprise waiting for them when they returned from the Easter/Spring holiday! Our new playground solar covering was installed and ready for use. A great big thank you to everyone who helped raise the funds needed to purchase the covering!

We all know that Dr. K wears many hats...I guess we can add cafeteria worker to the list. :-) Watch how she rolls those pigs-in-a-blanket. Way to go, Dr. Krieger!

Our school is honored to have been selected as the grand prize winner of Samsung's Hope for Education grant in 2007. Our school's entry was written by Steve Markezich and was selected out of 8200+ entries nationwide. The entire school celebrated the occasion at a special award ceremony with special guest stars, Aly & AJ! Check out some more pictures from our special event!

Some of our classes had a chance to visit Mandeville City Hall and decorate a tree with ornaments they created. Check out our scrapbook for more pics.

Woodlake Elementary school kindergarten, first, T-1, and multiage classes enjoyed a visit from Fire District #4 in Mandeville. Firemen taught fire safety to students using puppets and music.

Hugo the Hornet came to visit and teach us about playground safety. We had a great time hanging around with Hugo!

Hats off (or hats on, rather) to our great students! They paid $1 to wear a cap to school on Kids for Cops day. We raised over $700 to support injured officers!
